Hello, I’m Halinka.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I can assist you by helping you to find alternative ways of living and thinking in order to lead a more meaningful life.
I help people work through a wide range of difficulties and have specialist skills in the areas of anxiety disorders (such as PTSD, OCD, social phobia, and panic disorder), depression, couples therapy, grief and loss, and critical incident debriefing. I have also worked with clients having difficulties in parenting, work stress, life adjustment, sleep disorders, pain management, substance abuse, spirituality, and mental illness. I work with people of all ages from school aged children to older adults. I also provide therapy to returned service men and their families through the Department of Veteran Affairs; motor vehicle accidents; and workers’ compensation. I am fluent in Polish and Russian.
I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and am registered with the Psychologist's Registration Board of Australia, the Institute of Clinical Psychologists; Australian Clinical Psychological Association; and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
